William "Bill" Barron

William “Bill” Adrian Barron, 66, of Waco, TX, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
Bill was born November 1, 1955, in Fort Worth, TX. He was known as “Bubba” to his siblings. Bill was retired from TSTC, IT Department. He was an avid Texas Ranger and Baylor Bears sports fan; and enjoyed working on computers.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Donald Barron; mother, Betty (Martin) Hassell; and brothers, Charles Hassell and Samuel Hassell, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Barron; children, Charity Zint and husband Danny, and Joshua Barron and wife Corinne; step-father, Samuel Hassell; sisters, Linda Schurg and husband Dave, Teresa McDaniel and husband Richard, Christie Sharp and husband Larry, Cindy Whitley and husband Alan, Sheryl Jenkins and husband Tim, and Laurie Jackson; brother, Robert Hassell and wife Carla; aunt, Shirley Hogan; along with his grandchildren, Kamryn and Cade Zint, Taelor and Mason Barron, Alaina Fauver, Haley and Aiden Irwin, and Lillian Irwin.
