Sybil Rodriguez

Sybil Joy Rodriguez, 73, of Waco, TX, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021.
Born on March 17, 1947, she was the daughter of the late George Richard and Alma Peppers Richard. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Leonard Richard, Buster Richard and Billy Richard.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Thompson and husband Bobby of Waco, TX; a son, Edward Manthei of Marble falls, TX, and friend Diane; four grandchildren, Brandon McCartney and wife Megan of Lorena, Bradley McCartney of Axtell, TX, Erin Vater and husband Zach of Spicewood, TX, and Kristyn Manthei of Spicewood, TX. She had three beautiful great-grandchildren, Addison McCartney, Lawson McCartney, Knoxx McCartney and a bonus great-grandson, Todd Mitchell.
The family would like to mention that although she had many friends, she had a special friend in Tommie Pack and her family.
Sybil was surrounded by family as she left this world to be reunited with her parents and brothers. Sybil did not want a funeral or memorial, so in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice, or the American Cancer Society.
Thank you to all the nurses and doctors at Ascension Providence Hospital, with a special thanks to Dr. Rosario, and nurses Britany, Penny and Tammy. The support and love you showed our family during this difficult time will never be forgotten.
