Sandra Jeanne Turk, age 79 of Lorena went to heaven Thursday November 19, 2020 to join her loving husband to celebrate their 60th Wedding anniversary.
Sandra was born July 27, 1941 in St. Paul Minnesota, the daughter of Maurice and Hazelle (Cooper) Sporschutz.
She was united in Marriage to Robert Joseph Turk November 19, 1960 in Roswell, N.M. Robert preceded her in death September 13, 1991.
Sandra was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Waco. She worked at Sam’s Club for 26 years and was an avid Hockey fan. Sandra enjoyed working in her yard, garden, and making many wonderful friends and happy memories on her houseboat as well as spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sister, Judy and Dick Ford of Abilene; her children Anne Parsons and husband Sean of Robinson, Valerie Ficke and husband Bobby of McGregor, Joe Turk and wife Loretta of Ohio, and Timothy Turk of Robinson; her grandchildren Erica Young and Brandon Fulcher, Josh Parson and wife Jill, Shane Parsons and Collin Acock, Jeromy Ficke and wife Vanessa, Billy Bob Ficke and wife Hannah, Ellen, Stuart, Peri, Charlotte, and Jackie Turk; great grandchildren, Alissa and Tristan Young, Ethan and Lucy Ficke and soon to be Caroline Ficke.
In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, 600 W. 11th St., Amarillo, Tx 79101.
The family would like to give special thanks to the caring healthcare team at Providence Hospital that nursed her through her medical journey.
