Ruth Sesters

Ruth Sesters, 87, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022. She was born February 22, 1935 in Waco, Texas to Joel Earl and Gladys Rose (Snelson) Simpson. She worked for many years at Owens-Illinois Glass Plant. Ruth married Jim Sesters on April 23, 1965 and moved to Rancho Cordova, California. In 2004 she moved back to Texas and resided in Hewitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; and brother, Joe Gates.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Ricky Roller and Bryan Sesters; grandson, Zachary Roller; brother and sister-in-law, George and Dorcas Simpson; nephews, George Simpson, Scott Gates and wife Carrie; nieces, Sandra Mangum and husband Mark, Linda Bolin and husband Robin, Gladys Eilers and husband Craig; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; special cousin, Shirley Doty and several other cousins.
