Minerva Rosas

GONE TOO SOON

Minerva (Mama Minnie) Rosas of Waco, TX born October 28, 1961 in Waco, Texas, sadly passed away February 2, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 61.

Preceded in death by her father, Salome Rosas; mother, Margaret Rosas; and sister, Cynthia Annette Rosas.

She is survived by her sister, Delores England with husband Charles England; brother, Gerardo Rosas and with wife Jody Rosas; she is also survived by her children, James Aaron Rosas and wife Amanda Rosas, Steve Eric Rosas, Consuelo Monique Rosas with spouse Pierre Stanley, Destiny Annette Rosas with spouse Jarvis Richardson; and 11 beautiful grandchildren.

Minnie attended University High School class of 1982 where she meet many lifelong friends.
She ran several production lines before she discovered her love of serving. Her time at the Country Market and Denny’s led Minnie to her most recent career adventure at IHOP in Waco. She worked as a server at IHOP for 8 years. Minerva loved her job and all the people there.

She loved dancing listening to music and cooking delicious meals at home for her family and friends. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed taking them to church, going shopping, playing at the park and playing games with them at Peter Piper Pizza.

Minerva Rosas was a caring, loving and understanding Mother and Grandmother. It was in her nature to give and love and help those in need. Thank you all for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. She will truly be missed.

A balloon release will be held in her honor Thursday 4-5 at Oakwood Park.
Visitation will be held at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Thursday, February 10th from 5-7 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at the Pecan Grove Chapel, Friday, February 11th starting at 1pm followed by burial at Oakwood cemetery.
