Mario Alonso

Mario G. Alonso, 60, passed away on December 12, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 10 A.M. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mario was born on February 13, 1960 to John D. Alonso and Rosa (Garcia) Alonso in Carrizo Springs, Texas. He worked at Renschler Radiator Service and Wolfe Florist in Waco. He was known as handy man and loved music and family gatherings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Alonso and Rosa (Garcia) Alonso, and two nephews, John Donald Alonso and Richard Alonso, Jr.

Survivors include his brothers, John Alonso and wife, Nellie, Richard Alonso and wife, Vera, George L. Alonso and wife, Mary Ann, sister, Rosemary Farfan, brothers, Jerry Alonso, David Alonso, sister, Gloria Schauer and husband, Jody, brother, Joe Alonso, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
