Katherine Burtchell

Katherine M. Burtchell, 83, of Woodway, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11th at Bosqueville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 10th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. In accordance to current regulations, seating is limited, face coverings and social distancing is required.

Katherine Mozell Burtchell was born February 15, 1937 to Jessie and Rachel (Wright) Spence in Bosqueville, Texas. She married William H. Burtchell in Burkburnett, Texas. Katherine was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, working crossword puzzles, and playing Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kenneth McBride; five brothers; and five sisters.

Katherine is survived by her children, William A. Burtchell and wife Rebecca, Calvin Burtchell; grandchildren, Katherine Burtchell, Natasha Burtchell, and Darren Hudson; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
