John Dalrymple

John Richard Dalrymple, 80, of Waco, TX, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1801 Gurley Ave., Waco, TX. Officiating will be his pastor and friend, Marcelo Oliveira and longtime friend, Dr. Randy Hughes.
John was born September 19, 1941, in Waco, TX, to Clyde and Edith (Burns) Dalrymple. He graduated from University High School in 1959. John was a long time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He spent his entire career in sales and marketing. He loved to cook, work outdoors, travel and work with Senior Adults at Emmanuel.
John is survived by his wife, Jackie Carter Dalrymple; daughters, Kim Sepulveda and Dana Dalrymple; son, Troy Dalrymple; step-son, Russ Peddy and wife Amy; step-daughter, Kim Grout and husband Joe; sister, Dian Dupuy; brothers, George Dalrymple and Angie Brooks, Jerry Dalrymple and Linda Andrews, David Dalrymple and wife Delyn; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two nephews and four nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John’s name to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
