Grayson Goodwin

Grayson Ray Goodwin, infant son of Heather McCarver and Dustin Goodwin, born January 24, 2023, fought so hard before he passed away on January 26, 2023. During his short time here, Grayson touched many lives and was so loved by his family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb 2 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with Pastor Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Grayson was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Don Simons and great-grandmother, Edith McCarver.
He is survived by his loving parents, Heather McCarver and Dustin Goodwin; sister, Skylar and brother, Brantley; his aunts and uncles, Tyler and Kayla McCarver, Dustin and Shelley McCarver, Travis and Meagan Goodwin and Colt McCarver; grandparents, Pam and Billy McCarver, and Tracy and Marc Goodwin; great-grandparents, Jackie Simons and Rebecca and Ivan Stathopoulos; and his cousins, Kayleigh, Ashlynn, Bradyn, Ellanore, and Evangeline.
The family would like to thank Dr. Darrell Wheeler and the NICU staff at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center for their compassionate care of Grayson and his family.
