Glenda Steele

Glenda Joy (Cowan) Steele, 86, of Waco, TX, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 13, at Waco Memorial Park with Minister John Pierce officiating. There will be a visitation 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery, beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Glenda most loving devoted wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Southside church of Christ, and loved to read the Bible and listen to it when she could no longer see well enough to read. She worked 27 years as the cashier of Piccadilly Cafeteria.

Glenda is survived by her sister June Bundrant and her husband Bruce, her twins Lacy Steele and Tracie King and her husband Casey, grandchildren Brandi, Britni, Laci Donnell, Casey, Garrett, Abby, and her beloved cat Elliott. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Michelle and her husband John, Richard and his wife Ruby, Keith and his wife Katie, Ricky and his wife Lorie, Wendy and her husband Jody. She also has five great grandchildren, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
