Diana Michele Salinas

Diana Michele Salinas, 50, entered into paradise surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. There will be a visitation held from 6-8 P.M. on January 30, 2023, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr., Waco, TX.

Diana was born on August 9, 1972 to Janie Ruiz and Gilbert Salinas, Sr. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and they were the most important to her. She was dedicated to caring for others as a CNA since 2015, and took much pride in her job working at St. Anthony’s Care Center in Waco, TX.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Salinas, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Louis and Dora Salinas; and maternal grandparents, Andrew and Alice Ruiz.

Diana is survived by her son, Rudy Montoya, Jr; daughter, Alecia Salinas; grandchildren, Tevin Scott, Jr. and Aaria Scott; mom, Janie Urive; dad, Gabriel Urive Sr.; brothers, Gilbert Salinas, Jr., Gabriel Urive, Jr., and Raymond Ochoa; special friend, Kevin Adams; special niece Natalie Urive; along with several more nieces and nephews.
