Denton Ray

Denton L. Ray, 81, of Waco passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9 at Oakwood Cemetery, with Pastor Jim Daniels. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Lee Ray; father, Daniel M. Ray; mother Almedia F. (White) McLynn; two sisters, Alma F. Smith and Katherine A. Edlebrock; two brothers, Marion Louis Ray and Jessie H. Ray.
Denton is survived by his wife Wanda J. Ray; daughter, Catherine L. (Ray) Mosier and husband William T. Mosier; two sons, William E. Ray and Andrew C. Ray and wife Danielle Ray; brother, Elmo Jack Ray and wife Peggy Ray; four grandsons, Michael T. Mosier and wife Lydia Mosier, Greg W. Mosier and wife Jennifer Mosier, David L. Haines, and Jeremy C. Ray.
Pallbearers will be Michael T. Mosier, Greg W. Mosier, Jeremy C. Ray, Nathian Oatis, Charles W. Smith, and Charles W. Smith, Jr.
