Carrie Luedene (Johnston) Nabors, 90, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2021. She was a resident of The Atrium of Bellmead nursing facility at the time of her passing. Carrie was born November 30, 1930 in Waco, Texas to Clarence and Lydia (Reeves) Johnston.
She married Lee Henry (Bill) Nabors in 1945. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she enjoyed trips, luncheons and fellowship with the senior group.
Carrie is survived by her grandson Billy David Nabors, Jr., nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son Billy David Nabors, Sr., who passed away on November 10, 2020, just 2 months and 1 day prior to her passing.
Carrie will be interred at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco, with a private family burial. She requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, Waco, TX.
