Billy Allen

Billy Jack Allen, 67, of Waco passed away Monday, May 17, 2021. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Krueger officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Rosemound Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 21 at the funeral home.

Billy was born October 4, 1953 to James Clifford and Evelyn Lee (Stephens) Allen in Waco, Texas. He married Carolyn Jay Wilkerson on August 24, 1970 and celebrated 48 years until her passing on February 17, 2019. Together they had three children, Scotty, Sheila, and Amanda.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn; brothers, Timmy, Kenneth, Dale, Jim, and Jerry; and sister, Beverly.

Billy is survived by his loving children, Scotty Allen and wife Denise, Sheila Payne and husband Lance, and Amanda Brewer and husband Troy; grandchildren, Justine, Scotty Ray Jr., Lesley, Melanie, Matthew, Sydney, Megan, and Kayla; brothers, Vernon and wife Carol, Gary; sisters, Janice and Barbara; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
